Our handmade stool is comprised of a solid oak base and handwoven natural Danish cord. Danish cord is a strong, three-ply, paper cord known for its durability, lasting up to 60 years before needing to be replaced. Each bench is individually and lovingly made in Lancaster by a Mennonite husband and wife team in their small farmhouse shop.
